I've been lucky enough to stay in Bowness on Windermere for a couple of days with daughter Helen. The weather was perfect and the lake was so beautiful with a touch of mist - I didn't have my camera! so here's a couple of my prints of Bowness

Spent the day sailing on one of the Ullswater Steamers yesterday

the round trip from Glen Ridding on the south shore of Ullswater to Pooley Bridge and back again took 140 mins

The scenery is stunning. I took lots of photos and did plenty of sketching and am feeling really inspired, can't wait to get back in the studio!

Just back from a few days away. Stayed in this lovely barn conversion over the weekend with friends and family (twas my birthday) What a lovely place!

Visit to Leeds

Just returned from a short stay in Leeds with my daughter Helen. Haven't travelled by train for a long, long time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience - so convenient and hasslefree!

Thought we'd get some Christmas shopping done but it was great just wandering around the streets looking at the wonderful architecture and being inspired!
