Happy New Year

A little late I know, but I want to wish everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year!  I had a wonderful break with family and friends and am now ready to start the new year with renewed enthusiasm!

So even though the Studio is closed till February, I'm already thinking of new paintings and have actually got one on the go as we speak! This is a new countryside painting for Artko so all being well, prints should be available in the Spring.


I also have plans for another seascape. I couldn't resist this view yesterday. The sea shone silver and grey and the sun was bursting through the clouds in biblical style rays. Unfortunately, this doesn't show on the pictures but they'll be there in my painting! The sandbank will add lots of movement to the composition.
